I suspect I did indeed fall prey to the Microtonalist's Malady; my throat is still swollen and uncomfortable, though still not knifingly sore. I don't, in any case, want to swallow anything.
Despite this, the one outing I participated in today was a success. Mama took Prince to get his poor back worked on (he doesn't walk much), and on the way back I got a clamp for the udderbot (it works!) and strings for the violin (they even put them on there for me, and informed me it's a 3/4. It's extra tiny; that explains why my intervals are so huge, even trying to compensate for the difference from the cello).
Mama also brought me heavy thread, which makes progress on the mandolin case easier, since it doesn't break in the leather or from the needle nearly as often.
And yet productivity/motivation remains negligible. I suspect it is the disease.
