Especially when it's after a series of Verdi, Borodin, and other genii. And he took me to Chuy's in his car because mama had to stay behind for a meeting with Charles. I did say zdrastvuytye at the beginning of the rehearsal, and he asked me in Russian if I was studying it, and I nodded, and he said harasho (good) and I said ochin' harasho (very good), and he said he hadn't had anybody to speak Russian to in years. And then in the car he was teaching me some swear words.... I only remember one, the least complicated one. A verb.
