Stupid complacent entitled elitists. I mean, Symphony Chorus is always entitled (always excuses, never responsibility), but the chorus manager even made a speech after tonight's rehearsal about how, ha-ha-ha, sometimes we have no idea where we are during these concerts, but our director never notices, so, ha-ha-ha. I suppose this is "okay" for these concerts, since they're video game music, but NEWS FLASH GUYS the people who come to see FF concerts are fanatics, SO thoroughly engaged. They care a hell of a lot more than the people who come to see classical concerts, and they will KNOW if we screw up. I suppose it doesn't matter to us, though, because it's the plebeian horde rather than the discerning musical aristocracy, and who cares about their opinion, right?

I don't think I'll sing with HSC again after this concert.
