I'm telling you, my darlings, I really do live in the Shire. The hobits had roads, too, they were just a lot narrower and harder to drive on. This is a Man-sized Shire, with wide open spaces under giant oaks and tremendous fields.
In other words, I started Rice Summer School today, walked there, am now home for lunch. People, you should take the walk with me, if not the class.
But I still want to know the real hobbits. :whinewhine: Sam! :snif: The camaraderie! The cast! The fellowship! Maybe I just want more aggressive/active friends. I have about four real ones, you know. Not counting the two at my own school. And two or three in HSC. So Nine. But not that wonderful kind of Nine. And they don't know each other and aren't a fellowship. Maybe I should put my resume-pads into reality and start a for-real Guild of Metalcraft, with real meetings and everything. And we could talk about the linguistic side of things, too. And the new musical notation system I'm developing for Ailuria (started writing Aliah's legend in my sketchbook this morning cause I had nothing better to do, then randomly put signs for the solfege syllables of the song I made up for it over the tops of each word).
People! It's summer! Come see me. Please?
