I am so here, you have no idea. I met Parker at the station, we agev ouirselves time to get lost, and we made it to the Cathedral with two hours to spare, so from our vantage on the lawn we watched the masses arrive.

And we had a party in the living room of the boarding house of the cathedral school.

And we rehearsed all day. Directed by Stephen Connolly. Who recognized me and asked after my mom and for whom I am having the most serious attack of teacher's pet since Mr. White (and I LOVE IT), and who is saintly patient in a way I hope someday to be (not everyone can sight read or pay attention; I have ranted about this before, but it's particularly disturbing when the person to pay attention to is a musical idol of mine and has so much to pay attention to).

Have met awesome Scottish girl who cares as much as I do, a pair of German boys who can read like demons and agreed to do a breakout group with us, a Colombian dude who obsesses enough to transcribe like I do, and an Italian dude who can sing overtones as well as Mark, if not Toby.

Shall rehearse again all day today. I'll report if attention improves.

Hallo,

wishing you a good time at Exeter. I knew about this event, but, unlike you, I'm not a singer, so I couldn't dare going.
But I figured you possibly might. So I looked at your diary, and - there you are ...

By the way: what do you mean by people are not paying attention?? What is this course all about?

Greetings from Germany
Diana

The course is about ensemble singing, which requires immense concentration and attention thatsome people just aren't prepared to give. It annoys me a lot. I ranted about it in this entry: http://sanura.livejournal.com/763281.html
