We walked the Rice 3 miles, so I don't feel quite as bummed as I might about the 168 on the scale this morning. Some of it might be muscle. We also watched Tuck Everlasting. Bunch of camera-switching discontinuities, and there were some really dumb moments (they jumped into water and she apparently couldn't swin, but was obviously standing on the bottom, and then he carried her floating in circles??), but it was very pretty and had a nice story. Oh, you know what's a pretty movie? Episode II. It's the most beautiful movie I've ever seen, with the best effects, but that was its only redeeming quality. Otherwise it was totally dumb; acting, story, script, terrible.

Julia's writing the Ecco dictation I took into her computer on Sibelius, and then we're gonna sing it, possibly audition for TRF with it. I'll have to ask some HSC people (as much as Ian puts me off, he does sing there every weekend) or Krystle, who arranged the audition Freshman year.

Did y'all see the Figure Skating World Championships tonight? Pretty good.

La. I have piles of HW, but I'm not singing at Roger's tomorrow, so it'll be weird. I found a song I want to sing on my senior recital (to which you are ALL coming, if I have to drag you there in body bags). It's from Amahl, which I just listened to again recently, and its chorus (so probably its title) is Do Rich People Know. Niice, dramatic, theatrical, with a good melody. I'll have to find the sheet music for it.
