Had a nice (if smoky) night last night, out at Two Rows in the village. Salad had a stye, so he went home after the first half (he's not singing the Christmas recording anyway), and I didn't see him. However, I did talk to Fiona and Bill, and he gave me most of his soup. He's quite generous with soup. Fiona said her friend read her tarot cards and they invariably described her as a flowingly raven-haired, long creamy-armed witch. She's Catholic, and I thought I might give her some of the Llywellyn beginner stuff to read, if she's that far into the mythology of fuzzybunnny magic.
Today in Masterclass we actually had one, and the guy had to have me sing the song several times through in order to figure something out to help me with. Tonight David, Andy, Granjo, Joy and Robert are here and we're going to see Ain't Misbehavin' at the Great Caruso. It'll be way cool. Granjo wore her G&J big fish, so I'm wearing mine, and the only clothes I have that go with it are my silver velour shirt and shiny silver pants or skirt (I'm wearing the pants under the skirt cause it's cold and my underwear shows through with just the skirt). And I have a nice seagreen jacket to go with the seagreen beads I strung the fish on a string with so long ago; I think I got the thing when I still lived in California. Hmm.
