There is an ominous but strangely resigned sense of foreboding settling over me. Doctor Who's universe is ending (according to the trailer for the finale), islands are disappearing due to rising sea levels, and this seems for some reason to reinforce the turbulent but inevitable slide into oblivion. Maybe I'm just not looking forward to packing for the move.
