I think that was a genuine dinner party, like they write about in books. Bryan let me tag along after the cops came to let us out of the library (we had been reading companionably but stayed too late after ignoring the bells and flickering lights, thinking they were testing the fire alarm or something). So I read in the car while he and Molly grocery-shopped, and helped marginally while they cooked, and sat at the head of the table and participated in (sometimes civilized, sometimes not so civilized) conversation for hours. It's a little exhausting, but I sure did miss Bryan.
Going to look at more houses tomorrow, then possibly recording some more, since I have a microphone (got one from the DMC on the way to the library, once more).
