There is nothing like summer. Recording my own projects in the morning in the solitude of the garage that could have been designed for silence. A walk to the library to read, and run into Bryan and make his day better. Back home to read explorations of my favorite TV universes that are better and more creative than could ever be allowed on TV. Spontaneous cookie-baking, which must as always involve high-decibel dancing in the kitchen to a series of songs designed to make me happy. Cicadas, flash thunderstorms that fill the moat in record time. Bryan drops by and eats cookies and converses with mama, as I fulfill my role of snarky commentator. Keeping my hand in at wireworking. Making vague and satisfying plans with people I haven't seen for ages.

It's so ethereally atmospheric it requires description entirely in gerunds and participles.
