Experience beggars the description of a day. Meeting serendipitously for lunch, eating Indian food, lying in a park; these are all celestial happenings made mundane by capture in language. Still, I want to remember it, so I write it down. Betsy, Stephan, Anna, Ari and I ate, talked, and lounged, following the sun as the trees' shade encroached. People piled and played with each others' hair (Ari's skill at that may have been enhanced by her special attention to me due to other reasons). We separated slightly for a small while, played on the internet together, and reunited for tiny salon time (Betsy played Mahler for Ari and Faure for me, and neither of us was in perfect voice but it was treat fun) and dinner (as indescribably superlative as the day in general). I am greatly sad to be departing tomorrow, but I will come again.
