Wow. Yesterday was an intense day of Los Angelesness. Stephan obligingly took me to the Third Street Promenade, which was disappointingly yuppified and missing all the elements that made it fantastical in my childhood. However, we spent the rest of the day at the beach and on the Venice Boardwalk. With Anna and Ari. I now know the life.
The evening was interesting, too since Evan and his roommates were visiting town and we met them at a labelless restaurant and then failed to find the LA nightlife (we ended up at Ihop). Still, great day.
