Today was a lovely, low-energy day. We went to the Rosicrucian museum in San Jose, which is a gorgeous bastion of fairly respectable Egyptology both aesthetic and academic. There are gardens and lotus columns and then also actual Egyptian aritfacts. I was very excited about the gardens and architecture. I took many pictures.
Now we are back, and there are no active plans for awhile. I finally met Catherine's boyfriend; he came over and they went to get pizza. I have no need of pizza. I have an entire bag of sliced Tillamook cheddar. And also three boxes of chocolate-covered jelly in orange, raspberry and licorice, from Trader Joe's. I'm living the high life.
