One paper down (actually, finished and turned in with time for revision by 7 this evening), two to go.

HSC Mahler rehearsal downtown did not, for once, conflict with the improv troupe's longform show, so I went to see Slow Burn (Theater and Double Storm were the prompts), and lo they brought the funny. Joodles and Catherine sat with me and then walked aimlessly home with me and we played around and watched Tommy, which Joodles had never seen. Required viewing in the education of any rocker.

I will write another paper tomorrow.

I really wish I were going to be in town for the Mahler but I won't get there until the next week. :( How is it going?

Well, I can't vouch for the orchestra just yet (we get with them tonight), but Graf certainly improves the attentiveness of the chorus, which previously sounded thoroughly amateur. Still, it's intense.
