HSC rehearsals have become an opportunity to catch glee. Two pieces I love so, so dearly, and which make me so happy to rehearse, and I even get to sing bits in one that nobody else does--I have to restrain myself from jumping, sometimes. Such a long history of me and Carmina and me and Chichester, and such happy associations, both from my experience and from my imagination.
Stephan brought me the album that won the Grammy this year, which is a Herbie Hancock compilation of Joni Mitchell songs (totally unexpected, huh?), and it is lovely. He also brought me some Ocho Y Mas, because we're going to have another salsa party this weekend if we possibly can.
Bryan is having a texting war with Nico. The universe has a sense of humor.
