I am unduly gleeful this evening. I had a chiropractor's appointment, which is always fun (Darla is amusing and also fixes my back), a mediocre coaching, a good chorale rehearsal, an okay opera staging, and a surprise Hair music rehearsal at which I got little done and looked slightly incompetent. However, I arrived home to find two new King's Singers albums on my desk (The Golden Age - Siglo de Oro and Greatest Hits, which has their mid-blowing encores She Moved Through the Fair and Annie Laurie) and an email to the effect that I can have the JCS DVDs of the other nights RIGHT NOW so Stephan took me over there and Bryce's roommate let me in and I stole the rest of the nights. Also, I got a flatteringly sexist comment on my facebook profile picture, and I've been carrying on a facebook correspondence with Bryan, who will be here SOON.
So now it does not bother me that it will be a long night writing an application of Greenberg's first 25 language universals to Maori, with a lesson in the morning on a cold, because I have the glee.
