Home. That was a long rehearsal, but it only seemed so at certain points. Bado is demanding, but an effective and entertaining rehearser, when we're not just drilling memory. L'elisir d'amore is near the bottom of my list of favored operas, but everyone's singing well (except me, today, because of the cold combined with the strain of rehearsal last night; I sound like a 12-year-old boy), so there are some pretty moments. Nevertheless, I would rather not have spent all of today downtown, no matter how good Cabo's chicken fajita salad was for lunch.
