HEE. Right from a fairly disappointing Opera-workshop viewing of the scenes program (why can't I ever get out of my box?) to a stunningly fun HSC rehearsal (I know; Fun, you say? A rehearsal with Charles Hausmann? Believe it!) in which we went almost all the way through Carmina and Chichester, both. I get to sing the soprano quartet solos, and lots of people told me they liked it, and it's such a gorgeous piece, and I may have exploded of fun, a bit, onto my fellow sopranos back in our fourth row of deviance and snarkiness. I also grinned through all the words of the men's tavern songs and the roasting swan, and I hope the tenors behind me who might have heard will forgive my annoyingness. I just can't get over how awesome Carmina is, especially after studying it in Medieval.
And now I am listening to the great potential of a Joodles song-in-progress. Hopefully I don't have anything due tomorrow, because I won't accomplish anything tonight.
