First night in a (straight) club. Kevin and Allen work the bar in a place called VooDoo in Harrah's in Kansas City, and they're pretty fancy. They each made fancy drinks for everybody including me (Kevin in particular was good at coming up with nonalcoholic tastiness; Red Bull, pineapple juice, and sweet&sour mix was my staple of the night, though I also drank a bazillioni bottles of water). It was predictably loud and epileptic, but fun nonetheless. I ended up having to drive Steven and his three superdrunk friends back to Greenwood (lots of freeways and ice, which I'd only done for the first time that morning when Steven and aforementioned friend Adam took me to a parking lot to swerve and skid). It wasn't excessively smoky, though I did have to take a shower as soon as we got back because wow, it's penetrating. Backlog of news to follow.
