Back from the Jones Hall concert. Hans Graf is the most adorable little ol' conductor I've ever sung under. He smiles and holds his chin up, and touches his heart, and crouches down really low, and switches his baton from hand to hand. He's so sweet. And he's good with the chorus during rehearsals; he treats us like musicians and is specific with his notes for us, instead of looking down on us stupid singers. Though there's usually a reason for that stereotype (I had no white collar like everybody else, had to use mama's cuffs and pin them on because she didn't have mine done yet and they didn't have spares).
In other news... My hair is sticking out at 90-degree angles because I just took it out of full-length French braids and it's really staticky. I'm hungry. I'm scared for my wolfies. I'm apprehensive about my homework (tally finished: zero). My NYC trip put ten pounds back on me, two-thirds of what I'd accomplished. I'm anticipating my new Wyverns' post (bout a week left in the queue). I'm annoyed at the virus that freezes the computer whenever we try to open the main email, Eudora. Overall, the majority is negative. However, I'm listening to good Simon and Garfunkel, and that cancels out any deep emotions and puts me in a state of contented neutrality. I need a band.
