List so far of courses I've registered for next semester:

LANGUAGE AND SOCIETY
WORDS IN ENGLISH: STRUCTURE, HISTORY, USE
VOICE FOR MAJORS
OPERA THEATER WORKSHOP
VOCAL COACHING
MEDIEVAL EMPIRES
INTRODUCTION TO DESIGN OF STRUCTURES
MARTIAL ARTS

And I need one more. I can't just leave it at 17 hours; it's incomplete. You can take 20 without getting permission. I'm a little intimidated by the Archi class, but none of the other D3s were at convenient times. Katina, does Adam think ARCH 207 is too hard for a moderately mathematically motivated Musi?

I give up for tonight, though. Blaah, catalogs. And I'm not doing my Chem homework till later. We have a field trip tomorrow anyway.

I'm sorry, but I think that weight training class for women is a load of shit. My weight training class was at least half girls, and every girl in that class had a better idea of what they wanted to be doing and what their workout should be like than half us guys, who stood around like the nerdy little geeks we were, trying to figure out how that big-ass machine worked and whether it could actually kill us if it decided to (and I played 3 seasons of sports a year in high school, so it's not like I'd never been physically active before or something). If they're going to make a weight training class for women, they damn well better tell me the reason, and if it they say something along the lines of "women don't ever get the chance to be comfortable in a weightroom" or something like that, I'm gonna call bullshit on that, cause there's nothing like the dude benchpressing 200lbs looking over and snickering at you as you struggle with the 5lb barbell...

I certainly don't have a concrete idea of what it would entail. I've never even been inside the gym except for a chemistry class and Alexander technique. I'm going to see if I can still replace it, though, because it's not my idea of a worthwhile thingy. I'd rather be doing something for its own sake and let the exercise happen, you know?

It also gives you much more properly placed muscle improvement. And if you're going for tone or look, it's a lot better when it's more natural.

intro to design of structures is not hard...but it's kind-of useless, you really quite boring...plus the prof is...special. he used to me a sid master, so he's a nice guy, but in terms of a teacher he's a bit useless.

language and society is good. mostly intersting, and really easy.

Adam said it's all physics. I think. If I'm remembering it correctly.

Er... ew. Jenny said it's not too hard, but I really dislike Physics. I guess it'll be okay, though, unless there's loads of torque. I hate torque.

Plus, hey, Adam will be living with Stephan, so he can help me.
