EVERYTHING reminds me of one of three people. I have incessant conversations with one at school, I see one (who, Nia, drinks rather often, but not enough to always get drunk) weekly, and I see one rarely ever. I finished Candide, one of the books he told me to read, yesterday. I'd better post what they are up here in case I lose the list again (besides, it's written in very drunk handwriting with a couple letters missing):
Candide- Voltaire
"Barnaby the Scribner"[sic- it's Bartleby the Scrivener] - Melville
Point-Counterpoint- Huxley
"The Star"- Arthur C. Clarke
"The Dead"- James Joyce
and, when I'm 27, Ulysses by Joyce.
Zee. I'm going to Granjo's this afternoon and will probably be on aim. Maybe I'll get a bunch of homework done in advance.
