Ah, the joys of using a plunger on a clogged sink; seeing the scum go whirling down and away... And being able to use the dishwasher again. Random appreciation moment. Diet root beer is another of life's wonders. As is a working internet connection.
On the other hand... so many things I wanted to do... I did finish the new splash page for Ailuria, and finally got the sharding borders off of the cells in the table so they all fit together properly. I wanted to see Niara. Maybe I'll drop by tomorrow and see if she's home. Aliah hasn't answered my email about the legend of the Soul Taker I posted. She has better things to do, I guess. I still need to color more on Tiros' background and finish Laurria's Flight. But there's a new Pern book beckoning. And there are Opera Scenes tonight. Maybe I ought to ask people to come with me. Those things are so hilarious.
Random moan: is there ANY possible arrangment of hair uglier than that on the body of a slightly obese human female? I was giong to ask if there was any actual body uglier, but that would be unfair. As a rule, human extremeties are actually quite lovely. Except that they would be so much lovelier if they had a single recessed claw t the end of each digit, instead of a chitinous plate. It makes me feel like an insect. And the drooping, distended mammaries, even when they're nonfunctional... I suppose they match the drooping, distended abdomen and nether end. I need some more muscles.
