Getting so much better all the time... She's in her own room now, out of the ICU, feeding tube out, but she still has to practice breathing. The only thing left on her is the chest tube to drain stuff. She was much more normal. We sat in there with her and had conversations, the nurse came by and had conversations with us about how to raise kids and how oppressive some parents can be and how some spoil and ruin their kids... it was fun.

I went home to do some laundry and ended up doing three loads (there's still one in there, and one in the dryer). I also decided to scrub the bathroom floor, change the kitty litter, and clean the toilet so that whichever relative is sleeping in my bed can use my bathroom (it was pretty gross). I forgot how much hard work scrubbing floors is. It's a suitable medieval oppressive technique.

I compiled a bunch of things I needed (including watercolors so I can carry out Stephan's commission for his mom's birthday) and came back here, and am preparing to watch another ep of Rome. We watched two last night. Spring break is so decadent.

Really? I went through the first season once by myself, and I'm one away from the end with Bryan. He said he saw a couple new ones in Chicago, but he didn't say how they were.
