Studying chemistry with Stephan and Trevor is an experience for which the word ironic should be exclusively reserved. The contrast between our three characters is so great, one would never expect to find us studying together. It was fun, in a way. There were lots of stories told (by Stephan, as he is the master storyteller of the life), lots of curious questions asked (by Trevor, who was shocked and intrigued by Stephan's stories of summer flings), and lots of eyebrows raised in various contexts (by me, as one might imagine). There was some studying too, though I'm not done and will need a review of the naming of organic compounds before tomorrow morning. And then we went to House of Pies and the storytelling came out in full force. Trevor didn't remember groping me Saturday night (no surprise), but was horrified and apologized profusely. I was mostly just amused. As I was during the majority of that encounter.
I was late to work, which always guilts me out as I admire and respect Carl and would like it to be reciprocal. If I keep him at work late until I get there, it's not a positive association he's going to have with me. Still, he never complains and always charms away my explanations, so I never get to give them, so he probably thinks I'm a flake. Erg. Well, he had all but two sports bits done when I got there, which was nice. And now, studyness. And more work, when it comes in.
