A whole lot of excitement in one night for nothing happening.
Stephan came over after I got back from Roger's (which went really well, I think; we made a heck of a lot of progress on the Queen song that has been kicking our butts for years). He's had this ambition-epiphany-daze thing today. We're going to grab a composer (preferably Jacob, because he's the only one I can think of besides Andrew who could pull this off; Andrew, you help him) and an archi (hopefully Adam) and pull together a Gesamtkunstwerk restoration-performance of a classic play that Stephan will direct. It will be amazing. We'll be famous. Or, he will. I'm not sure what I have to do with it, except that he came home and gushed at me about it and I made some suggestions. But we're going to read a zillion plays between now and next spring, when it will happen. We're thinking Greek, because that would make the historical-restoration aspect easier. That's the difference between reconstruction and restoration, and that's the big thing; the history will be obvious.
We got extremely excited about it. And talked about it. And ate salmon. And listened to another mindblowing album I just got that I had no idea was so cool. I am so distracted.
