Hah. Got up at 8:30 for a 10:00 rehearsal, and spent till 1 reading and reacting to the script/score. And it was fun. This is a good show. Not only do I love it dearly, but I have a moderately informed opinion that it is a valuable piece of American repertoire. I want to eat it, as often happens with beautiful music I can't sing by myself.

Dan, Laura Botkin and I got lunch at Jimmy Wok. Reminded me why I am antisocial.

But back to rehearsal, and by the end, around five, we all seemed to have a better idea of how we were going to pull this off. Rick's NYC accent is amazing and he is scary as bioterrorism and amazing, as is Andrea's NYJew accent, and Colm's (he's Australian); people seemed to like my Austrian one (for the four or five lines I have), and Aaron is properly both pathetic and sympathetic; his character is both a nerd and a dork, but as sweet as they come. I think this is going to be a well-done production of a good show, so double whammy there.

I stopped by Hamman hall for a couple minutes walking home from rehearsal to see how Rhinoceros (Stephan's show) is doing, and they seem to be in the throes of the creative process rather than the productive one (or, at least, that's how it seemed as long as I was there).

My Rigoletto score got here today. Next week will be the first week I don't need it for VeeDub.

Now, to bed. My face is stuffed.
