Last night's crowd was the most enthusiastic we've had yet. It was a fully subscribed concert, so of course they're all insiders and laugh at the conductor's jokes, but I felt like they really enjoyed it. I would have been happier if it had lasted maybe an hour less. Still, it was fun.

Dan's party was fun, too. Stephan brought me, and I sat in a chair and talked to whoever sat down by me (Diego, a grad student studiomate, Dan, who proclaimed his love for me at least six times during the hour I was there). Ben and Bryan kept their word to stop by later, and seemed entertained, if a bit overwhelmed, by the craziness. It was looking pretty crazy by the time I opted to leave with Bryan rather than wait for Stephan. Much like a Bat Boy cast party, but slightly more civilized. Dan certainly was having fun. It was good to see all the people I saw; I'd missed them. I did get backed into a corner in the kitchen when the crowd expanded, but I didn't mind sitting on the couter and observing the interplay between my boys and the various people who couldn't stay out of the fridge.

This morning the house is quiet; I probably slept through breakfast, but Stephan's still asleep on the living room couch, and Ben and Bryan are in their respective rooms. I'm dragging them all to my matinee, if I have to get a tractor to do it.
