Test could have been worse, and it turns out I needn't have busted my butt learning the recitative, because Katie's still sick. So, done day. I'd like to be relieved, but I'm just kind of done. Rehearsal was fun, for the fifteen minutes I had to be there. Trevor gives a decent, if fairly light, backrub. I certainly was in no condition to complain; any kind of cervothoracic contact felt like heaven.
I made Stephan a burger (he hadn't eaten in what seemed like years) and Andy came in, and we ended up spending more than half an hour talking in the kitchen. I think they're each starting to understand how the other could be worth my time. Stephan's admitted Andy is cool. Mama showed up for awhile, and we had a typical Reynolds kitchen conversation, told old stories and new ones, and I'm glad Stephan got the experience. It's a big part of how I've grown up.
And then we finished the House of all Hice we started before rehearsal. He was properly amazed.
I believe I am now in the proper condition to collapse unconscious for a number of hours, though I'll be miserable in the morning, because the readjustment's never over by Friday.
