The plane rides were long, but relatively comfortable. On the first one, there was more turbulence than I've ever been through, but it was fun. Only after the second plane (a tiny nine-row prop, at that) was on the ground, did I get slightly woozy. That may have been the fact that all I'd had today was four tangerines, a tiny bag of pretzelettes, and two glasses of tomato juice. But we found our way to Johnny's from the airport, and then, since there was nobody home and we were starving, to the lovely diner (which, both times I've been to it, has had lovely waiters). Oh, the Parkway Burger. Mushrooms, Swiss cheese, and perfectly medium rare.

In any case, we're here now, in the front room of the studio. Patty's been by (friendly, but loud). Johnny came in and helped me fix my headphones. He's so cool. And so laid-back.
