Hm. That was quite the show. There were some trainwrecks, but I don't think anyone but the musicians noticed. The audience was frighteningly happy and responsive. They laughed, screamed, cheered, and applauded at times in response to I can only imagine what. Apparently they liked it. What did you think, Jesse? I "forgot" to turn in the music, so I still have time to copy it if you want before I turn it in at the Beethoven rehearsal.

We all loved the show!! The only "trainwreck" moments I'm thinking that you might refer to are some parts that seemed like the recorded synth track was off from the orchestration on some of the songs. What was amazing was the fact that everything you performed was exactly on sync with the video being shown on the big screen.
As far as all the laughing and applauding, the best moments for me were one moment during the Metal Gear Solid performance, where a guy flashed an exclamation point over his head while walking on stage (just like in the game), and the AMAZING "Sega!!!" that you guys perfectly sang, (with a little more quality than the old 16-bit cartridges would provide :P)
It was a great show....and I feel everyone walked away with the appreciation that a symphony and chorus would take the time to perform music that really strikes home for the videogamers out there....the music has seriously never sounded as full and enjoyable as when it is being performed live in front of you :)
A copy of the music would be AWESOME!! I'm going to be in town until the 23rd, so we should meet sometime for dinner or a coffee/hot chocolate sometime :). Let me know by email, at jessec@rice.edu or call me at 956-499-3799. From all of my friend who went...we loved the show! Hope to hear from you soon!
