This amuses me.
My mode of operation here to find something interesting to sing that fits the requirements of school is to go through the several 3-inch binders in which I put programs from concerts I've been to. I had a habit, once upon a time, of marking songs on other people's recital programs that I thought I'd like to sing someday. Hopefully I can find the binder with that time period in it. If not, I'll look up stuff that sounds interesting. I have about eight years' worth of Rice programs from recitals and concerts students gave, so there must be something in there I can use.
