My bad, it was today we made ice cream. The usual complement of Houston-based extended family came and we had an Independence Day (ish) brisket and stuff dinner. I had to grate an entire coconut, which is harder than it sounds. We have yet to try the pineapple-coconut ice cream that will be the result of this labor, nor the mocha which isn't done yet either, but I bet they're both going to be amazing.
The sleevish extensions of my chainmail shirt are now even. They'll need to be wider, but at least I know the length. It won't be long before I finally connect the front and back, and I'll have a shirt instead of a poncho.
