Apparently the house just falls apart when we're not home. Andy said this:

The good news is... nothing bad happened on Saturday! That was a first. Here's the chronology.

Tuesday: dogs chased Kitty; Kitty leapt on the bar sink, knocking potted
plants into the faucet which turned on the sink. Dirt from the pots clogged
the drain so the sink ran over and flooded the floor in the bedroom.
Outside, a squirrel knocked over things on the shelf on the porch and broke
some candles.

Wednesday: the clothes washer ran over and flooded the garage apartment.

Thursday: a Blue Jay came into the house. He knocked over a vase in the
kitchen and then needed help finding his way out.

Friday: Dolly caught a live bird in the dining room (no, we don't know why
it was in the house). Fortunately, she didn't break anything in the
process. However, Prince became terrified of the fireworks at Rice graduation and
raced through the house, trailing poop through three rooms.

Saturday: normal day

I noticed people trying to change a tire in your driveway a couple of days ago as I was stalking you, I mean driving past your house on the way to a party. Just so you know.

Yeah; my uncle often fixes his car in my driveway, and he's been helping with my aunt's car, too, since she left it there and went to Wharton. Several bunches of relatives are watching over the house while we're gone.
