Bleargh.
The plane ride was actually just fine, with Casanova, King Kong, Apollo 13, my mp3 player and my book to entertain me, as well as the stoned cats. But having got here, got lost twice on the autobahn trying to get here, jetlagged and nauseated, I can only appreciate the 84% marker on my clandestine House2.22 download.
Tony showed us around Ramstein air force base, which is interesting because I've never seen a base before, and so far I've heard no one speak German besides one guy at the airport. We went to Doenerkebab for dinner; Turkish German fast food. Very good, actually. The Wurmstein kids mave mellowed somewhat, although that may be their consideration for my nausea.
Something exciting will happen, and I'll tell you about it, but for now I'm sleepy and cranky and I miss Stephan and Dan. I could use some handling right now, but no one is inclined to carry me to bed and be my pillow. Not that I'd let them, really. I'm not feeling vicious, just... less domesticated than usual.
