Mm. I mostly ignored the concert tonight by going upstairs early, sitting on the humongous beanbags they have outside the mezzanine doors (don't ask me, I just sit on them), reading The Neverending Story, and going to sing when our four minutes of airtime came along.
The car ride home, despite annoying mother mannerisms, was one of the most relaxing things I've done since my last chirpractor visit. I closed my eyes, listened to the gods of blend and ensemble cranked up as high as the car speakers go, and rode my hand on the wet air out the open window. Ah, to focus on the things that are really important in life. Like everyone cutting off a perfectly blended, perfectly tuned chord all at the exact same time, with no messy consonants and a lovely British accent.
David, Andy, Amy and Grandjo are all here. I'm not sure why, except that Andy's usually here, and David and Grandjo show up sometimes. I think we're all going to eat something. I could use some food.
