Glory be, I love this song. This whole album, while I have issues with its taste, is straight-male high-school genius I wish I'd known about sooner. I wish I knew people like this, too. Apparently they are pretty common in normal high schools. I suppose I'd have been bored with them if I'd known too many, and I regret nothing in my high-school experience, but man, they're such cool dorks.

I think I'm gonna go to Salad's party for a bit before the call at Tom's church. It'll be good to see him. It's been ages.

Recently I was tallying the amount of straight male close friends I have, for some reason, and the number came up as two my age and one older. If that is indicative of life in the arts, it doesn't seem likely that I'll meet many of the aforementioned cool dorks. Ah, well. I've got other kinds.

hey, i think us cool dorks are around somewhere...aren't we? there's..ummm...well, this is assuming i'm a cool dork, which is probably a bit pretentious.

although this little tangent probably proves the "dork" factor. don't know about cool, although i can pretend.

but yeah...there are a few, aren't there? you just have to look for us, i think.

You are by all means a cool dork. You are one of the coolest straight male dorks I know. However, this is a specific kind of cool dork I'm talking about. You have far too much actual expertise and are far too modest to be the kind of dork I was referring to in this post. Which entails, basically, Tenacious D.

Don't worry! Your status as dork will not go unappreciated by me. Your cool is just different. You're actually cooler.
