Hmm. Kyoht updated. Kaijima has a new Essay (go read it, dragons and nondragons). 2 is really cool, though slightly obscene. Much awereness has been produced.
Last night was relatively long, for an after-rehearsal outness. We were home by 11, but the rehearsal let out early around 9. It was fun; my mom sat next to a new tenor who asked her a lot of stuff about me (I wasn't listening, I was paying attention to Chris's explanation of his undersea oil-testing techniques because Bill asked; strangely enough, it would have been fascinating even if I didn't like whoever was explaining it). Fiona sat next to me until her friend Angela (the one who's scared of roaches) came unexpectedly. Angela talked about her thesis, which was interesting; she's an undergrad at U of St. Thomas, and knows a Latin teacher who could possibly get me credit for two years.
At one point, my hair was the topic of general conversation. They liked it. At another point, my age and birthday were inquired after and discussed. At first it was said that anyone over 16 can date whoever she wants, and I made a "who-cares-I'm-not-planning-on-anything" face, but then it was revised to 18, which I thought was more reasonable. I'm not sure if I'm obsessed or paranoid or what, but Fi and Chris were giggling together, and he was looking at me, and the offhand comment when he was asked what that was all about was "wishful thinking". No, I am sure, I'm paranoid and obsessed, but I have a right to mentally twist all events pertaining to myself into a light having to do with my interests. Gaaah. I just am a little disturbed that I want to or don't care that I am.
Remember I was at IHOP at 3 in the morning recently? Apparently so was the assistant principal of my school. He mentioned it to me today, no questions or anything, and said he liked my hair.
