I don't think I've gotten a single normal double-Wednesday in the past two months. I keep having to stay up for evening rehearsal till work, and then getting up in the morning after a two-hour nap for class. I'll catch up on sleep over spring break next week.

Lesson was pretty awesome for having a tuberculosis-style cough and nasal goo. I kind of appropriated the Laudate Dominum from the Mozart, since it was fresh in my mind from Chorale, and my practice on it two summers ago served me well. Joan said it fit my voice well. And then we tried a new Schubert, which is cute, but not French.

You know who's French? Ravel. MMmmmmm. There were still obnoxious problems from within the chorus, but most of the time you couldn't really tell because the orchestra is the focus of the piece; we're just another, slightly less competent, family of instruments. There are no words, literally; it's humming and vowels. It's programmatic (oh, t3h seXX0rz), but Ravel's orchestration is so expressive he needs no text.

Dammit people, give me an article to copyedit! I brought fake pudding with me and Evan spent several minutes fuzzing my hair. I can conquer the world!

I guess that means I should IPA my French Diction homework so I can send it to Dan to print before it's due tomorrow. The things I should do are somehow not nearly as unattractive as they usually are. I shall take advantage of this situation and do them.
