IT WAS AMAZING! We win! AHHHH! So much better than last night. It's amazing what a receptive crowd can do. I am such an amateur; I remember this high from elementary school, but it's so intense. Dr. Farwell, half our studio, Dan's friend from Georgia, Meghan, Katie, some of my O-week group, and several people from random classes of mine all came tonight. I am exhausted and exhilirated and the thing is, I think it will get even better! Tomorrow night we'll have a decent crowd, I hear. And mama's coming tomorrow, and maybe some Symphony Chorus people. It's a pity the Thresher review wasn't tonight, just because the reception was so positive, but I bet we'll do even better tomorrow. We'll break all 32 legs in the cast, and probably the crew's and the musicians', too! MRAUGH!
I am now considering becoming an hour late to Diego's house in order to bake everyone cookies. Sweet wounded Jesus, who have I become?
2:48 ETA: I've said it before, but bears repetition: I am desperately in love with this cast. That was the best party so far, I'd say, and not just because there was piling. I love piling. Well, with the right people. But people liked the cookies, despite their terrible flour issues! And then there was bottle-spinning to watch and a very drunk and friendly guitarist with whom to exclaim over Led Zeppelin and a mind-blowing shoulder-rub from Diego... my life is complete for tonight. I await more life tomorrow night.
