We ran through all we'd done of the first act, which seems to me to be about half. Hayley's going to be amazing when she knows her music, and Diego already is. I love acting. It was fun, but I want not to be forgetting small lines next time.
Um. I think it may be a good thing that rehearsal was over early so people could do the 24-hour plays. Not that I had undue trouble singing, or that I wouldn't have gone on if it had been a normal-length rehearsal, but maybe it was a good thing just the same. I'm freezing, my eyes have trouble focusing, my neck now hurts like a charlie horse on both sides and is swollen from the equally painful gland inside it, my nose is clear but behind it is a slightly less than solid wall of phlegm, I think I have a fever, and I had trouble keeping my balance on my bike on the way home. Hopefully I didn't give whatever this is to anyone who was at rehearsal tonight, though Dan, who gave it to me, said he'd been dizzy all day too.
I really wanted to do the 24-hour play, but I bet I'd collapse in the middle of the night if I did, and then the spores of whatever evil fungus is inhabiting me would billow from my stagnant, cooling body, seeking other nearby life to destroy with incoherence and uncomfortable neck pain. Or maybe not, but I don't want to take the chance of giving it to anybody, so I'm going to bed and seeing how I feel tomorrow. My lesson is tomorrow at 11. And then at noon they're working on the set. Damn, I hope it goes away.
