Susanne Mentzer, the teacher who is coming next year to replace Dr. Farwell so that the triumvirate of poor stepstudents will once again have a studio, was here at 3 today to talk to us between judging incoming freshman auditions and looking for a house. I think it's gonna work out. I like her.
Dan gave me his miserable post-nasal drip and swollen adenoids. Or maybe I wrested them from his uncontagious body, considering how much time I've spent with him over the last few weeks and that I was about to fall asleep on his bed. It's going to make rehearsal tonight more difficult, added to the fact that my neck and shoulders feel like someone implanted cement blocks in them.
But meanwhile, I have fancy tea and fake pudding (sugarless cocoa powder in heavy whipping cream whipped to the solid point). Yay.

The adenoid thing doesn't really affect my singing much, except that I have to swallow much more often than is normal, and it really hurts to swallow.
