Also, I have a suspicion that light vegitation actually produces more methane than trees - and if that is the case, then cutting down trees is still going to screw up the ratios of gasses in the atmosphere. But we have never really known what the hell was going on, other than "it's complicated," anyways. No revelation there.
Anyway, Kyoto is still planted on the sound premise that we shouldn't screw with everybody's air and not know what is going on. hah. Planted.
