Urgh. I woke up this morning relatively early to go keep Dan company while he worked at the library (or didn't, since practically no one goes to the music library on Saturdays during finals). We ran lines and songs and I helped him with British diction. We've made a deal; we're both a little blobby to be half-naked onstage, so we're going to be in great shape by the show. He's starting when he gets home (he's leaving for Georgia tomorrow afternoon, but he's driving, so it'll be a couple days-- I have a head start).

So I spent the morning running the show with him (quietly) in the library, and then he talked me into going to the Galleria with him to buy his friend a Christmas present. Apparently the Galleria contains the only Urban Outfitters in Houston since the one in the village burned down. And he had to get the table from Urban Outfitters. So. We spent an hour in scary traffic, another half-hour trying to park, and another half-hour in the terrifying mall. I can't understand why I agreed to go. To top it off, my back started hurting about halfway through the drive, so I spent the horrifying time in the mall with similarly horrifying cramps. But I suppose it was all right; he's fun to hang out with. And then we went back to Sid and he gave me amazing tea for Christmas. I wonder what I should get him.

I seem to have fixed my back with more tea, thyroid, lying down, and heat. Perhaps the Symphony show tonight will not be utter misery. I wasn't miserable this morning.

Rrgh. This song is the only one still giving me trouble. I think I've got the rest of them learned. Except for that one little blurb that's not on the soundtrack. Though I know it's not the same singing for real as singing along with somebody else.
