Wow. Near the end of last night, when I was carefully not doing any homework but instead reading the entire contents of dooce.com and blurbomat.com concurrently with each other, I suddenly got tired of the big roll of cloth and rods behind my couch, and embarked on an ambition to finish the curtains. There is now light in my room, and purple/green subtly iridescent flowy waves down from the tops of my windows! I mean, not that I did any work except cleaning four metric tons of fur and cockroaches from under the windows and screwing the screws into the sheetrock; my mom did all the sewing, and I just put them up there to measure what needed hemming. But aren't they cool??
