Everyone but Shadow has come inside. I've talked to Mrs. Debakey (she feeds him and Umbra every morning), and she gave us the basket they lie in and the Neosporin she puts on their ears. If she finds him first, she'll take him inside and tell us. He usually stands around in our driveway in the evenings, so I'll wait another few hours before I go looking for him again. Everybody else is locked in my room and my bathroom. Baby doesn't like Mango and India, Tavaril doesn't like Baby and Umbra, and Umbra doesn't like anybody but Shadow, and Shadow's not here. The dogs will come inside when it starts raining. Prince is terrified of thunder.
ETA: Found Shadow on the Debakeys' doorstep at 4ish. All the plants are now inside, and the loose pieces of slate from the driveway and pooldeck. My house looks decrepit. We chopped big pieces off the tree over the pool so they wouldn't come off in the storm and break the doors under the porch. It started sprinkling about 5:15, and we hammered pieces of the trampoline and a pipe into the ground in front of the wheelbarrow and on the other side of the wooden gate to keep it from blowing off. I never knew a sledgehammer could be so much fun. The rest of the trampoline we couldn't take apart is in the pool. Now I desperately need a shower and to further feed my addiction. I am on the second disk of the third season. Again.
