All is not well with the animal kingdom. The world has gone less and less sane.
Does anyone find it odd that the June bugs commenced their invaions several weeks ago, in the middle of March?
As I walked home from work, a mockingbird was making an utter fool of himself, singing fit to imitate a Machaut motet, at 12:30 in the middle of the night.
And then I ran into Bryce, walking away from Brown at the same odd time of night, with Melanie, who had just broken up with him and because of whom he had not been eating or sleeping for the past few days.
Which puts me in mind of Stephan's new antics.
And I finished a composition because of a deadline. Obviously, the moon will soon turn red and plagues of death, famine, war and... plague will soon sweep the earth.
At least recently the weather has been in no need of a straitjacket. It gave up its frivolous imitations of a Northeastern spring a few days ago and has returned to a respectable 80 degrees and 70% humidity.
