While I'm here, I'm going to make a list of books that I want desperately and do not have. Just in case any of you will remember. The subject came up while I was browsing Elfwood. So here:
The Flight of Dragons, Peter Dickinson. You want this too, believe me.
Alanna: The First Adventure
In the Hand of the Goddess
The Woman Who Rides Like A Man, Tamora Pierce. Believe me, it does not pay to start at the end of a series.
The Realms of the Gods, Tamora Pierce. Been pining for this ever since I got the 3rd on in the Immortals series. I have the other three.
If there is a sequel to The Waterborn and The Blackgod by J. Gregory Keyes, I want it.
The Fire's Stone, Tanya Huff. Ever since reading Sing the Four Quarters, I've wanted the only other stand-alone book she wrote.
Whatever comes after The Golden Queen by Dave Wolverton, I think it's Beyond the Gate.
The Clan of the Cave Bear, by Jean M. Auel, and whatever comes after the second one in the Earth's Children Series. I know there's The Mammoth Hunters, and something about a Stone, but The only one I have is The Valley of Horses, though I read my aunt's copy of the first book.
The Atlas of Pern, by Karen Wynn Fonstad, and The People of Pern by Robin Wood and Anne McCaffrey, and Bt Guide to Pern, by Jody Lynn Nye
The Last Unicorn, Peter Beagle
The Silver Gryphon, Mercedes Lackey, I think.
And any other books you think I'd like. I remember somebody said something about Lyra (not the Philip Pullman one), and I know people have recommended ooks to me that I haven't read or bought yet. However, I probably have any scifi book you can think of, and a large number of fantasy as well; I should probably list them so you'll know what I have, but I'm still shaking off the effects of the lingering attack of laziness.
