Oh, you should plan on the top group! I rode home from B'boro with Todd,
Elliot and Richard and we remembered you by name, and very, very
happily. They'll be thrilled to see you again at Smith also.
Please tell Roger and Debbie congratulations from me and give them my
love and best wishes! That's great news.
And oh please, we're pals, right? Don't pull this awe thing on me!
Don't you dare!! I'd be so sad if people treated me any differently....

OH WOW Laura you're in the Western Wind now?! Ahh!
That is both extremely exciting and slightly intimidating... I hope we
can come up with something to sing together. Amazing. Heh, what makes
you so sure I'll be in the top group next time? I should just kind of
slide into yours. Thanks for the compliment about my piece; Grant seemed
not to mind arranging it for theorbo and cello and viol and me, since I
only wrote it for me and guitar... It was so much fun. As was
everything.
Roger and Debbie are moving in together in a house they're having built
in (oh, forgive me, I can't remember if it's Katy or Sugarland) some
remote suburb of Houston, because they're getting married in the middle
of March. We (our regular Sunday group of me , my mom, Roger, Debbie,
and a tenor named Lee
Williams) are all singing at their wedding, including some of the things
we sang and heard at the last workshop, and it's going to be quite the
occasion, even if it is very small.
Wow wow wow, I am excited. Congratulations, man. And good luck; you're
going to be busy.
Love and awe,
Ryan
