THE WESTERN WIND CDs ARE COMING!!!!
YAY.
Now, completely irrelevant to that exultation, I appear to have garnered a reputation for witty solutions.

You missed a classic Ryan-ism, so I'll fill you in.
Debby was fretting about whether we will get enough rehearsal for the
wedding gig, and I said I thought the two coming up (this Sunday and 3/6)
would probably do. The problem most on my mind, of course, being the new
one. OK, well then Debby said that maybe it would be better if we had a bit
of a rehearsal before the gig rather than walking on cold. That sounded
like a good idea to me, so I suggested that we could come a bit early to the
church and do a run-through before the ceremony. Which actually sounds like
a real good idea to me, all things being equal, because the second time
through is always better. Well, I ran into a stone wall there. It seems
that tradition - sacred tradition, apparently - says that the groom is not
to see the bride before the ceremony. I'm not quite sure what this is
supposed to be about . well, I think maybe I'm not going to go there.
So what does Ryan have to do with this? Just that as soon as the objection
became clear she calmly suggested that the group could rehearse with the two
of us separately.
I love it.
Presumably we will discuss this Sunday.
-- Roger (a.k.a. the clueless groom)
P.S. Ryan - I talked to Lee and Laurie about this, but you may not be aware
that I am going to be traveling 2/27 - and of course 2/20 is HSC
performance. That's one reason why it came up, I guess.
